What we do with your details — in plain words

You gave us a property requirement and your contact details. Here is exactly what we collect, why, who sees it and how to get it erased.

Who we are

Who is handling your data

LeadsDepot is an online marketplace. Property owners submit a requirement — interiors or real estate — and we match it with verified businesses that serve that requirement. This page explains what we do with the details you give us when you submit.

Questions about this notice: email hello@leadsdepot.in.

What we collect

Only what the form asks for

When you submit a requirement, we collect:

  • Your name, mobile number and email address
  • The city and state your requirement is in
  • The property type, and project scope details
  • Your budget range and when you plan to start
  • Anything you add in the optional free-text box
  • The page you submitted from and the referral link that brought you there
  • The date and time you agreed to this policy

That is the whole list. We do not ask for documents, payment details or identity numbers from property owners.

Why we collect it

To verify your requirement and match it with the right professionals

One purpose, three concrete steps:

  1. 1.A human on our verification desk calls the mobile number you gave us, to check the enquiry is genuine and the details are right.
  2. 2.Your requirement is shown to businesses matched to it, with your full contact details withheld until a business takes the enquiry.
  3. 3.When a business takes your enquiry, it receives your contact details so it can reach you directly.

We do not use your details for advertising, and we do not sell them to anyone.

Who we share it with

Verified businesses. That is the list.

Your details go to two kinds of people and nobody else: our own verification desk (to make the call), and the verified businesses matched to your requirement — the interior design and real-estate professionals relevant to what you asked for.

Never with call centres. Never with data brokers. Never with anyone who is not working on your actual requirement.

Delivery tools: to send a matched business your verified details we use an email delivery provider (Resend) and messaging APIs. They process that delivery on our instructions only — they never use your details for their own purposes.

If you email us

What happens to mail sent to our inbox

If you email hello@leadsdepot.in, we store the message so our team can read and act on it: your email address, the subject line, and the text of your message (attachments are counted, not stored, by our mail provider). We keep inbound mail for up to 180 days, after which it is deleted automatically by a scheduled purge; ask us and we will delete a specific message sooner.

How long we keep it

As long as the enquiry is alive, and no longer

If the same mobile number submits again within 30 days, we treat it as the same enquiry rather than a new one — that 30-day window is the duplicate protection we run.

Enquiries that never pass verification — an unreachable number, a failed check, or a “not interested” — are graded in our internal queue and are never shown to businesses. They stay in our systems (and out of matching) until one of our team clears them; we do not delete them on an automatic schedule. Verified enquiries stay in our systems while they are live in matching, and for as long as we need to keep a record of the sale for the business that received it.

Ask us to erase your details and we will delete what we hold — this is done by our team, directly against our records, within the 30-day window below (there is no self-service delete button). One honest limit: when a business has already been matched with you, it holds its own copy of your details as the professional you contacted — for that copy, ask them directly. Mail you sent our inbox follows the 180-day retention above instead.

Your rights

Access, correction, erasure, withdrawal — and a real person to write to

You can, at any time:

  • Access — ask what details we hold about you.
  • Correct — fix anything wrong or incomplete.
  • Erase — have your details deleted from our systems (see the limits above).
  • Withdraw consent — tell us to stop being contacted, and stop your enquiry from being matched.

To exercise any of these, or to raise a grievance, email hello@leadsdepot.in. We respond within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your request, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Cookies

Essential only, by default.

The only cookies LeadsDepot itself sets are the essential session cookies that keep signed-in accounts working (plus the preview-access cookie while the site is gated) — ld_user for buyer accounts and ld_admin for our team — plus your saved light/dark theme preference in your own browser. No advertising or tracking cookies.

We also run our own cookieless, first-party web analytics (Vercel Analytics) — it counts page views without cookies and without building profiles.

One honest exception, tied to our own configuration: we may enable audience measurement — Google Analytics 4 and/or the Meta pixel — on this site. Those are third-party scripts, not ours, and when enabled they set their own cookies (such as _ga and _fbp) and receive your IP address and page views. They are OFF by default; if (and only if) you see requests to googletagmanager.com or connect.facebook.net, they are on. They are used to measure which pages bring enquiries — never to match your enquiry details with your browsing.

If this notice changes in a way that matters, we will publish the new version on this page.
